Entrance to Camelot Village
Camelot Village was built in 1967 and has been regularly renovated. It is located at 130 S. Estes Drive in Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514, across from University Mall and just off Franklin St., about one and a half miles east of downtown Chapel Hill and the UNC-CH campus.

All the units are 1-bedroom units with a similar floor plan, totalling about 700 sq. feet in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bath. They are all-electric, with electric bills averaging $30-$40/month. Units are typically equipped with a refrigerator, range, AC, lots of closets, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and a balcony or patio area with space to sit and enjoy views of the pond, the surrounding forest, sunrises or sunsets. Most units have cable TV connections. Some units also have distinctive modifications such as washer-dryer hookups or built-in custom cabinetry.

Typical Building Unit

Camelot Village has excellent public transportation available. It is served by Chapel Hill bus lines F, G, or M (FG Saturdays, T/G weekday evenings). It is just a few minutes walk to stores, restaurants, banks, the main Chapel Hill Public Library, and the main Post Office.

Camelot Village has beautifully maintained grounds, common coin-operated washer/dryer facilities, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse available for residents' use. Chapel Hill Community Center Park is right next door. From there the Battle Branch hiking trail leads to the UNC-CH campus (1.5 miles, about a 40-minute walk), while the Bolin Creek bikeway leads to Airport Road.

Schools: Rashkis Elementary School (in Meadowmont), Culbreth Middle School, East Chapel Hill High School.
